Watch Overtime MMA Athletes Rick Lamas and Bart Palaszewski Square Off in the Co-Main Event at WEC 39 on Sunday, March 1st
Overtime MMA Instructor Ricardo Lamas will meet Bart Palaszewski, another athlete who trains in wrestling at Overtime MMA, on Sunday evening in the co-main event at WEC 39. This lightweight bout will be Lamas' WEC debut, while it is Palaszewski's second fight in the promotion.
Rick enters with an undefeated professional record of 5-0, his last win being a unanimous decision victory over Christopher Martin at Ironheart Crown Resurrection on November 8, 2008. Bart is an experienced veteran with a record of 30-11, winning his last fight via TKO over Alex Karalexis at WEC 37 on December 3, 2008.
WEC 39 will be aired live for free on the Versus network starting at 9 PM Eastern/8 PM Central time on Sunday, March 1st. Overtime MMA Instructor Mike Corey's XFO fight cancelled
Mike Corey was slated to take on Jay Ellis in a lightweight bout at XFO 28 on Friday night in Lakemoor, IL. However, Mike's opponent backed out so Mike will not be fighting.

Congrats to Overtime MMA lightweight fighter Bill Lynch, who won by TKO over Dan Crabbe in the main event at Fightcard Cross the Line on Thursday, February 26th in Chicago.
Also fighting on this card was bantamweight Jerald Williams, who made his MMA debut. Jerald lost a very close split decision to Darwin Hill, although he demonstrated superior wrestling and ring control throughout the bout.
