Each month, Overtime MMA will feature a member of the month, which is sponsored by Buffalo Wild Wings in Plainfield, IL. The member of the month will receive a $20 food certificate to dine at BWW.
The Buffalo Wild Wings Member of the Month for April 2009 is Dan Babb.
Dan is a 22 year old college student who focuses his training on Brazilian Jiu-jitsu. When he isn't at school or training, he works part time at a restaurant.
Dan enjoys training at Overtime MMA because of the atmosphere -- it offers serious training, and trainers are also supportive and friendly. Jeff Neal has made it clear that if you train hard and practice consitently, the trainers can help you to achieve whatever goals you strive to reach. Jason Sullins teaches exceptional technique, and his classes push you to really test your cardio (which Daniel feels is one of his strong suits).
Dan has set a goal for himself for the future to work on his wrestling takedowns to help round out his jiu-jitsu ground game.
