Each month, Overtime MMA will feature a member of the month, which is sponsored by Buffalo Wild Wings in Plainfield, IL. The member of the month will receive a $20 food certificate to dine at BWW.
The Buffalo Wild Wings Member of the Month for July 2009 is Asim KhanFrascello.
Asim Khan is a 22 year old grad student who has been training at Overtime for about a month and a half. He joined Overtime because offered a variety of different disciplines, and he had been wating to join a well rounded MMA gym for a while.
Asim came to Overtime with a background in Cross Country. While he had no prior experience in Martial Arts, he found the instructors easy to work with, but but the workouts were still intense.
Asim enjoyed the balance between cardio routines some days, with the sheer technical classes others, as well as having the freedom of picking any time throughout the day to come in and train.
Asim will be returning to Arizona for grad school in the fall, but we hope he comes back to Overtime next summer to continue his training!
